Why Get Organized?

Have you ever wanted to get organized with your stuff and then felt overwhelmed and wondered why are you doing this? What is the point? Who cares if I just close the door and walk away?

Well, something I have learned about getting organized, is that when my home and space is organized, it seems to open new doors for me. It always leads to new opportunities and ideas. Whenever I am feeling stuck in my life, I feel the need to re-organize my home. Have you ever felt that? It’s like I need to go through everything I own and do a complete inventory check. Do I have too much of this, or that? What am I done with? What do I need? I move things out and make room for the new.

Without fail, every time I’m done with the process, new opportunities show up. It may be the process of organizing has helped me see the opportunity I didn’t see before but I feel like it’s the universe seeing I’m ready for what nexts in my life.

The real reason why it always seems to open new opportunities is because it helps increase your productivity and improves your performance at work, and in other parts of your life. Basically, once your physical space is organized, your mental space gets organized as well. How cool is that?

Another thing I’ve noticed about getting organized, is that I always lose weight. It never fails, that I can drop a few pounds physically, as I clean out and declutter my house. Once again, my thoughts have always been that because the extra stuff is like extra weight. But there as I researched it I found that it is because you make healthier decisions once you’re physically organized.

So, the question for you is, are you ready to get started yet? New opportunities and a healthier life are waiting for you.
